Our objective to help in the organization of Family Associations in the various Country Offices was accomplished with the help of the past four encounters. As it is necessary to ensure the follow-up, we made a commitment to meet every two years with the purpose of experience-sharing, knowledge and friendship, as well as supporting the organization of new Associations where it's needed. The IDB Family Association is planning the V Meeting that will take place on the 10th, 11th, 12th of October 2007 at the IDB Headquarters in Washington DC.

The objectives of the V Meeting are:

• Strengthen the Family Associations in the IDB Member Countries
• Keep the Family Associations in members countries updated on topics of common interest
• Promote friendship and cooperation among members of the Family Associations in the Member Countries.
